Apple just made its big announcement by revealing its new iPad, the iPad Pro 9.7that comes with a high-tech 9.7in adaptive display. Apple has just unveiled its 4in iPhone SE and a smaller iPad Pro 9.7, marking a new era of Apple tablets. Everyone was expecting that Apple would name its smaller iPad as iPad Pro Mini or something like that but they have simply named it iPad Pro just like the larger iPad Pro.
The new 9.7in iPad Pro is very much similar to 12.9in iPad, just in a shrunken form. But yes it also has one or two very significant differences as well. Starting with mentioning the similarities, the 9.7in iPad Pro features the same Apple A9X processor, as found in the larger iPad Pro. Apple A9X processor is a setup that has plenty of grunts, as said in the words of Apple’s Phil Schiller. The 9.7in iPad Pro also comes with quad-speakers, supports input from the Apple Pencil stylus accessory and has a specially sized version of the Smart Keyboard which docks, connects and functions, exactly the same way as the 12.9in iPad. It is available in four metallic colours including Rose Gold.
When it comes to differences, the most significant one is the display size. The new iPad Pro has a display of just 9.7in which is smaller than the previous one. It uses a new set of technology which Apple’s Phil Schiller described as an ‘oxide TFT’ panel that makes it the brightest and least reflective tablet display in the market today. The 9.7in iPad Pro is 40% less reflective and 25% brighter than the iPad Air 2 and has more colours and improved saturation. It also supports Apple’s new Night Shift mode, which reduces blue light emissions to prevent sleep problems. It has a True Tone display that efficiently measures the colour of your room’s ambient light and adjusts its display colour to match the same.
Here we discuss the key USPs of the new iPad Pro in brief.

iPad Pro display
The 9.7in iPad Pro features a True Tone display which makes use of its four-channel sensors to adjust the white balance of the display to match the ambient light around you. This gives you a more natural, accurate, paper-white viewing experience. The display is 25% brighter and 40% less reflective than iPad Air 2. You get awesome visuals as it utilizes the same colour gamut as the 5K iMac. Its Night Shift mode uses iPad Pro’s clock and geo-location to automatically adjust the display colours to the warmer end of the spectrum when it gets dark outside. This helps in letting you get a good night’s sleep.
iPad Pro Performance
The iPad Pro features Apple’s powerful A9X chip with third-generation 64-bit architecture that gives you a laptop-like performance along with an awesome battery life.
